Henry's First Christmas...

Well, it came and went so quickly. Christmas 2008, Henry's 1st Christmas. He got to spend time with Grammy& Gramps Sibert from Oregon. Who, missed the greatest snowstorm since his daddy was a little boy, because they were with Henry!  On Christmas Eve, Henry got to spend time with Nonnie&Papa, Uncle Dommy&aunti Brenda and cousins Sofia&Olivia. Then after Christmas saw his great-aunties & uncles and some cousins on his mommies side of the family in Whittier. And last but not least, Henry got to visit his great-gramma& Papa Faye. It was a whirlwind of wrapping paper, boxes and gifts, but Henry had a great time, preferring the paper over the gifts. As you can see in the pictures....

Henry's First Cold...

'Tis the season, fo' shizzle. As Henry started sneezing yesterday and his little eyes were watery with read rings around them. As usual though, he smiled throughout the day. He was even an angel for the babysitter. As mommy&daddy went to a Christmas party last night (this was the first babysitter Henry has had-other than friends or family.) He woke up at midnight crying and stuffy, then about every two hours. Poor baby he could hardly breathe. In the morning mommy called the doctor, but basically all you can do is use a humidifier and saline drops and be sure he gets lots of rest. No juice or chicken noodle soup for this little breast-fed man.  We had originally planned a pretty full day, we were going to visit some family in Whittier, but had to cancel due to Henry being sick. We were sad, but that's ok, we will have a make up day. Next exciting thing will be Grammy&Gramps Sibert arriving from Oregon tomorrow. We cannot wait to see them!!

Christmas is Here!!!

Wow!! How quickly time flies!! Henry will be 6 months old on the 24th of December!! Oh my goodness! He is sitting up, scooting on his tum,tum (as we like to call it) "talking" and getting ready to eat solids. He watches mommy and daddy very intently when we are eating, and grabs at our silverware.  On December 4th, Henry met Santa for the first time at the Grove, then on the 5th, met him again (a must nicer one may I add) at another function. Christmas is quickly approaching, and Grammy and Grandpa from Oregon are coming to visit. Henry has been "helping" mommy bake (he coaches her from his excer-saucer) he has even opened a couple of pre christmas gifts Grammy&Grandpa Sibert sent. Out of everything though, Henry especially LOVES  the lights!! He is absolutely                                         fascinated with them. Overall, Henry is so excited for the big day!!

Visiting Uncle Alan&Aunti Angela &Cousin Lucy

The weekend before Thanksgiving, Henry, Mommy&Daddy drove up to Mammoth to visit aunti Angela&Uncle Alan and my (almost) cousin Lucy. She is not quite finished baking yet. Aunti Angela is due to have her on December 22nd or possibly before or after...we'll see. We went for a long walk and it was so beautiful, but very cold. We cannot wait to visit again in January when cousin Lucy has arrived!!!

Trip up to see Grammy & Grandpa and the rest of the friends and family up in Oregon

Henry went on a trip of many firsts. First time on a plane, First time to Oregon, First time to a pumpkin patch, First time seeing 2 of his Great Grandma's, and many other family and Friends.

We all had a great time visiting family and friends.

Henry even found time to go in for a photo shoot so everyone could see how big he's gotten.

Then there was the infamous visit to the Roloff farms. Dad would say it took 90 minutes to get in and pay too much for a soda and kettle corn and a few pictures, while Mom's story would be more around we got to see the Roloff family from the show Little people Big world. We were able to see Tara's good friend Heather and her family while we were there too.

Uncle Samuel's Race

Today I went to my first drifting race. Mommy&Daddy and I drove out to Irwindale to see uncle Samuel in a competition. My buddy Ryan and his daddy Chris met up with us there too. We saw lots of cars and it was so loud and exciting. I didn't even complain that much. Mommy carried me around in the Ergo carrier so I got to see people and feel safe too. I can't wait to go to my next race.
